AI and Data Science

Keynote: Unicorns Are No Longer Rare

A unicorn product manager understands the customer, and can also build the product. Pre-AI, unicorns were rare. Most PMs hand a spec to a developer and hope the idea survives the translation.

AI now makes it possible for every good PM to be a unicorn. Robbie Allen has watched a PM who had never written a line of code take a weekend YouTube course and ship a mobile app to production by the end of the weekend.

Writing code has become the easy part. Knowing what's worth building is the hard part, and that's the skill good PMs already have. Whether you haven't started yet or have already shipped something, you'll see where PMs are taking these skills next, from former PMs of Robbie's who are now CTOs to PMs building and running products of their own.
