How to Deal with Sales!
The relationship between Product and Sales is often a contentious one fraught with conflict and tension. This session is not group therapy to share all our horror stories (although we will have a little fun with the topic!) It is an interactive session to learn the best techniques, methods and practices for building better relationships, validating or discrediting ideas/demands that come from sales and knowing when and how to stand your ground.
Scott is a seasoned product and marketing professional with 18 years experience developing and managing products in both Software and Hardware arenas for Internet pioneers like Earthlink through his current role developing communications software services with Windstream. He started his career in sales so it is easy for him to relate and share best practices on sales engagement.
